On October 21, Confirel participated in the French Market, an event organized by the France Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and Industry within the compound of the French Embassy in Phnom Penh.
The first edition in 2019 welcomed 7,500 visitors (before the pandemic) and the 2nd brought together 5,500. For this 3rd edition, the French Market welcomed 13,500 curious people who came to stroll past 70 stands (a record). This enthusiasm surprised the organizers themselves.
Jacques Pellet, Ambassador of France to Cambodia and Christophe Chheang, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Cambodia, ensured the inauguration.
Cambodian families in particular, students and expatriates came in large numbers to discover numerous companies, organizations or structures, all having a link with France. The main aisle was crowded for most of the day.
The Confirel stand was full of curious people who came to discover or rediscover authentic Khmer products. They had a wide choice of tasting with our healthy infusions including our Kirum Lemongrass Herbal Tea in an iced version, our Kiril prahok powder to prepare Prahok Ktis, our Mango Rolls as well as Thnotala, a new spread made from of mango, cocoa and palm sugar, soon to be commercialized.
This relocated showroom with tasting and sales on site allowed Confirel to once again expose itself to as many people as possible, and to ensure strong visibility.
